So my parents decided that they wanted to go to Florida, and me being stuck in school I got to stay at my Grandma's house. I enjoy doing this most of the time but unfortunately it was during a homework filled weekend, making the majority of my stay exhausting and miserable.
On sunday afternoon my grandmother took my cousin to the orchestra, no I don't know why he wanted to go, I'm not into that sort of thing. When they left my uncle came over and picked me up so we could hang out. We had some good talks and decided to go get this book about finance for my uncles new acupuncture and chinese medicine practice, and went to one of those chain bookstores that everyone forgets exist. Once we got in there we found the book and got in line, I was thinking about how I could show my uncle I was in his corner when an idea came to me, I could pay for his book. I pulled out a twenty and handed the cashier the money when the following dialogue happened:
Uncle: What do you think you're doing Noah?
Me: Paying for your book.
Uncle: But why?
Me: Because I can and I am trying to show you that I'm behind you!
Uncle: Now I am going to have to buy you a hooker or something!
Cashier: Wow man, you better pay for everything you can!
Most interesting time anyone has ever had in a bookstore. Ever. How sad is that?
